The Fab Four, circa 1962. I stumbled upon this picture while living and working in Hudson, NY as a newspaper reporter. A neighbor and I were talking about music and our shared passion for the Beatles when he showed me this snapshot. He didn't know who the man in the center was, but said the photo was taken at a private party around 1962 by a friend who lived in Liverpool and travelled in the same circles as the Beatles but didn't know them personally. Remarkably, my neighbor had no idea of the photo's value and took no precautions to preserve it. He allowed me to borrow it and I made this scan, removing many cracks and blemishes.   - Paul
